Car Accident Claims Donegal and Dublin

Have you been injured in a car traffic accident?

If you have been injured physically or psychologically in a road accident and you were not at fault or fully at fault for the accident, you may be entitled to compensation for your injuries. You can claim compensation for your pain and suffering and for any out of pocket expenses properly incurred by you as well as any loss of earnings.

Our litigation team in Letterkenny and Dublin has the experience and knowledge to advise you whether you can make a claim or not and will explain the process and carry out necessary investigations before submitting a claim to The Personal Injuries Assessment Board ( PIAB) on your behalf. If the claim is not settled at the PIAB stage we will advise you on issuing court proceedings.

Most cases are settled out of court by negotiation and our experienced team will work to ensure the best outcome for you and keep you fully informed at all times.

FAQ

Below is a number of frequently asked questions in relation to car accident claims, if your question is not listed please do not hesitate to contact us.

What Should I Do If I Have Been Involved In A Car Accident?
Being in a car crash is a very stressful situation. People usually are surprised at how stressed they can be even following a relatively minor accident. If you are injured or worried about your health following an accident, you should go to your doctor. If you have been seriously injured you will probably be taken to hospital by ambulance. If you have been injured or if your car or other property has been damaged due to the negligence of another driver, you may have a claim against them for personal injuries and damage to your car and other property.
Things You Should Do Immediately
If you were driving you should notify your own insurance company immediately even if you do not believe you are at fault. Failure to notify them could result in a problem with insurance cover if the other driver takes a claim.

If the Gardaí were not called to the scene of the crash you should notify them without delay.

At the scene it is best to exchange names, addresses, registration details and insurance details with the other driver and to take the names and addresses of any witnesses. This is particularly important if the Gardaí are not at the scene.

If you have a mobile phone with a camera, use it to take pictures of the cars and the scene.

Do not admit liability.

Garry and the whole team have provided a fantastic service. We used Garry for Conveyancing on a property we were purchasing, he was very efficient, was able to push things along at a pace that suited us, and he managed any negotiations in a very professional manner, always with our best interests at heart. Fiona was also a great source of knowledge and always on hand to answer our questions. Ultimately, I was very happy with the service received and would highly recommend this business
