Cycling Accident Claims

More and more of us are cycling for leisure or to commute in and out of work. If you have been injured whilst cycling you may be entitled to compensation for your injuries.

If you are involved in an accident with a car or other motorised vehicle, please try to get details of the car registration and insurance. If your accident is caused by another obstacle such as the condition of the road, other road user or animal please try to take good photographs of the scene of the accident including any other vehicles and of your bike if it is damaged. If the other vehicle does not remain at the scene you may still be able to make a claim but it is very important that you report the accident to The Gardai as soon as you can and ideally within two days.
